The company Bluefin Grill Limited (no: 5218299) was incorporated on 31 August 2004 and commenced to trade as Bluefin Seafood and Grill on 11 November 2004.
The current directors are Steve Rhodes and Dave Clarke (both Chartered Accountants practicing in the Sheffield area) and the registered office is 42 Market Street, Eckington, Sheffield S21 4JH, the accounts address.

The restaurant has two levels and a maximum of 54 covers. It is licensed and fully air conditioned.
The menu is predominantly seafood and shellfish with a few meat and vegetarian options and concentrates on European and Asian cuisine. 
 
During 2005 the restaurant won awards as Westside magazines Best Newcomer and The Yorkshire Posts Best Seafood Restaurant. It was also commended by The Catering Magazine for one of the Best Sushi Dishes in their national competition.

On June 6th 2007 The Bluefin was awarded ‘Westside  Restaurant Of The Year’ by Westside Magazines.

2008 is the 3rd year that The Bluefin has been included in the Michelin Guide.
